(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)
Limbo, a mobile entertainment community, announced the addition of
Silicon Valley veteran David Limp as the company's first Chief
Operating Officer.
Limp's association with Limbo dates back to its inception in 2005 when
Azure Capital Partners, the venture capital firm with which he was a
Venture Partner, provided seed funding for the start up.
Prior to Azure, Limp was Senior Vice President of Business Development
of PalmSource. In this role, he was responsible for corporate
development, and network operator sales. Prior to this role, he was
Chief Strategy Officer of Liberate Technologies. Limp was promoted to
that broad strategic role from the position of Vice President of
Marketing, after helping to successfully spin the company out from
Oracle. And previously, Limp spent nine years with Apple Computer.
He is currently on the board of Education.com and a board observer at
Motricity.
