CallWave Launches Premium Virtual Voicemail Suite for Mobile Professionals, Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- CallWave, Inc. (Nasdaq:CALL) today announced the nationwide availability of CallWave Virtual Voicemail, a suite of premium mobile communications services on the CallWave Mobile Platform. Starting today, users can choose between three convenient and flexible packages, all of which include the popular Vtxt voicemail-to-text feature and work with users' existing mobile phone, number, and wireless service provider.

The CallWave Virtual Voicemail Suite includes unique features such as voicemail-to-text recognition for mobile voicemail, real-time mobile call screening, as well as the message portal - a personalized "content locker" for mobile applications. CallWave's solutions deliver all the tools that mobile professionals need in one place, accessible via today's most popular communications devices, the phone and the computer.

The experience begins on the handset as mobile subscribers read a summarized "gist" of their message enabled by CallWave's proprietary Vtxt voicemail-to-text transcription speech application. It extends to the desktop, where email centric users can get their voicemail in their email inbox - with top-line message details included in the subject line and the full text transcription and voice message attached. Further leveraging the desktop, CallWave Virtual Voicemail includes a secure, personal message portal - where users can read, hear, reply via text and call-back, search, and permanently archive mobile messages on the web.

"CallWave was founded to simplify and enhance our most critical communication tools - the phone and the PC," said Jeff Cavins, Chief Executive Officer of CallWave. "Creating interoperability between the Internet, landline and mobile phone, the CallWave Mobile Platform gives mobile professionals a new way to manage essential communications. Whether using their mobile phone, PDA or PC, this multi-tasking, productivity-focused group can enjoy seamless access to calls, contacts, voicemails, faxes and more."

The CallWave Virtual Voicemail Suite

CallWave's Virtual Voicemail brings a modern approach to the way busy mobile professionals and email-centric Internet users can now manage their messages. Three packages are available to meet the needs and budgets of the mobile professional - CallWave Mobile PRO, CallWave Mobile EXEC and CallWave Mobile BUSINESS.

CallWave Virtual Voicemail includes the following features:

-- Read Voicemail - CallWave transcribes voice messages into text. Users receive a summarized "gist" text message on their handset and can access full transcriptions and audio in their email or personal message portal.

-- Manage Messages as Easy as Email - A web-based personal message portal gives users an unlimited, permanent archive to hear, read, reply via text and call-back, share and search essential communications, including calls, contacts, voicemails and faxes. Accessible anywhere there is an Internet connection, the portal enables users to stay in touch with calls and contacts, even when abroad.

-- Screen Mobile Calls Just Like an Answering Machine - Users can now screen mobile calls, in real-time, just like an answering machine. Mobile professionals can listen to the caller's voicemail as it is being left via their handset or desktop and choose to take the call or let it go to voicemail.

-- Unified Voicemail - Adding a new level of convenience and efficiency to daily communications, mobile professionals can get their mobile, work, and home voicemail messages in one place, transcribed to text.

Additionally, mobile professionals can complete their communications suite with CallWave Virtual Fax. With the ability to send, receive, and store faxes right from the PC, users will enjoy faxing with modern-day speed and ease without the expense of a machine or second line.
