Current CEO Greg Dukat will be departing the company. Burkett has served as Ventyx COO since January 2007 when MDSI Mobile Data Solutions Inc. and Indus International Inc. combined to form Ventyx. Before the merger, he was the president and CEO of MDSI. Dukat joined Indus in September 2002, served as president and CEO of Indus beginning in February 2004 and was named the CEO of Ventyx at the time of the merger. Dukat agreed to serve through the remainder of 2007 to aid in the integration of the two companies and ensure a smooth transition to the new CEO.
