Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 Selects Revinetix Data Protection Disk2Disk2Disk Solutions to Speed Archiving and Ensure Data Access

(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) SALT LAKE CITY, UT, December 13 / MARKET WIRE/ --

To protect its student records, test
scores, and other system data as well as speed the archiving process,
Bonneville Joint School District No. 93, located in Idaho, recently
selected Sentio(TM) and Volo(TM) backup
appliances from Revinetix,
a pioneer in Disk2Disk2Disk(TM)
backup solutions. The contract with Bonneville Joint School District No. 93
was facilitated by Valcom, a Revinetix' Value-Added Reseller (VAR) with
locations in Boise, Idaho and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Prior to installing a Revinetix data
protection solution, Bonneville Joint School District No. 93
(www.d93.k12.id.us) used a network attached storage (NAS) device to perform
weekly backups of files from its more than 50 servers. Archiving required a
lot of manual intervention and was slow, taking on average an entire
weekend to complete. And because of space limitations, data was stored on
NAS devices offsite at various schools.

When evaluating options to replace its existing archiving system, price and
technical service capability were the two key determining factors.

"We evaluated numerous companies, and very few price-comparable disk
solutions could offer the ability to work with Microsoft Exchange 2007. We
found everything we were looking for in Revinetix," said Lane Virgin,
system administrator at Bonneville Joint School District. "As a public
school district we are very conscientious and look at price point,
technical service and maintenance contracts with every purchase we make.
Revinetix was more than competitive in price and offered tremendous
technical support."

In addition to the lower cost of entry, Bonneville Joint School District
anticipates it will continue to see cost savings as the price point of hard
drives continue to decrease -- an uncommon occurrence with backup tape
solutions.

Revinetix' line of Sentio appliances uniquely meet the needs of
organizations like Bonneville through innovative software (RevOS(TM)) --
fully integrated with best-of-class hardware and Disk2Disk2Disk(TM)
technology. The result is a turn-key appliance that comes installed,
configured and ready for easy and seamless deployment within an existing IT
infrastructure. Backups are fully automated, restores are quick and
reliable, and archive drives are hot-swappable, enabling removal and
offsite storage. Sentio appliances are compatible with Solaris, Linux, and
Windows 2003 and 2000. Its Volo line of desktop data protection appliances
installs in less than one hour in most office environments, allowing users
to quickly configure, manage and implement a complete backup solution.

The Disk2Disk2Disk system also provides complete automation. The weekly
task of monitoring NAS devices has been eliminated. Now, instead of the
weekly backups that require manual initiation, Bonneville Joint School
District is backing up its data automatically. Eliminating the manual
backup initiation and "babysitting" has freed the District's staff to focus
on other activities, both during the workweek and on their weekends. If
necessary, Bonneville can run a bare-metal restore (BMR) within two hours.

"I can administrate from home now if needed and I sleep a little better at
night knowing that if something does happen to our system, I will be able
to quickly and easily recover any data that is temporarily lost. I guess
it's one less thing to worry about and that is really nice," said Virgin.

"Like many public entities, Bonneville Joint School District struggled to
find a backup system that improved productivity for its IT staff but that
was also cost effective," said Thomas Hogan, CEO, Revinetix. "Our data
archiving products are designed to meet the storage requirements for any
budget and for any situation. We are pleased to have been selected by
Bonneville and look forward to supporting them with all of their storage
and data access goals."

Due to the improved performance Bonneville has experienced since the
installation, the District plans to purchase a third appliance for offsite
data storage and added disaster recovery assurance in the near future.
