FORT WORTH , Texas - American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American
Airlines, will add two daily nonstop flights between Dallas/Fort Worth
International Airport (DFW) and Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT)
beginning April 7, 2008.

American Eagle will operate the service with 50-seat Embraer ERJ-140
jets.

"We are pleased to provide direct access to Grand Junction from our
Dallas/Fort Worth hub," said Peter Bowler, President and CEO of
American Eagle Airlines. "This will allow those from Grand Junction the
opportunity to connect to anywhere in the world American Airlines,
American Eagle and its oneworld partners fly."

"Access to direct service between Dallas and Grand Junction will be a
great boom to the Western Slope," said Senator Wayne Allard (R-Colo.).
"The potential job creation at the Grand Junction Regional Airport and
greater access for citizens to destinations around the world will be a
great benefit. I applaud American Eagle Airlines for extending this
service and I'm confident that the demand for service will soon justify
this decision."

"I applaud American Eagle for making the decision to add daily service
from Grand Junction to Dallas. This is a win-win situation for everyone
involved," said Congressman John T. Salazar (D-Colo.). "Not only is it
a wise business choice for American Eagle but it has the potential to
stimulate economic growth across the Western Slope. More important is
the increased access for passengers living in the surrounding rural
communities."

" It is great news for the Western Slope of Colorado that American
Eagle will begin air service between Grand Junction and Dallas," said
Grand Junction Regional Airport Board Chairman Tom LaCroix. "Not only
does this expanding air service by American Eagle create jobs and
encourage economic growth, it also gives travelers more options while
drawing business and investment to the area."
