(Lancaster New Era (PA) (KRT) Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Dec. 1--America's Business Consultants LLC has promoted Steven Lee Carter to senior vice president.

Carter, of East Petersburg, joined America's Business Consultants in August as a commercial loan adviser. He has more than 20 years of experience in banking, lending and consulting, most recently as a self-employed business consultant assisting start-up firms.

Carter holds bachelor's degrees from the University of Delaware and SUNY-Potsdam.

--Lancaster Newspapers Inc. has promoted June McClune to art services manager.


McClune, of Lancaster, is a 36-year employee of Lancaster Newspapers, most recently serving as retail artist supervisor.

In her new position, McClune will lead a team of 11 graphic artists from three departments who are being brought together to form the art services department.

McClune is a graduate of Moore College of Art.

--High Construction Co. has promoted Deron C. Henise to department manager of estimating and purchasing and hired Kevin M. Miduri as director of field operations.

Henise, of York, began with High in 1998, most recently serving as senior project manager for a variety of commercial, multi-family and retail projects.

He holds an associate degree from Thaddeus Stevens State School of Technology and a bachelor's degree from Temple University.

Miduri, of Hummelstown, previously was employed as president and chief operating officer of E.C. Snyder Co.

--Gibbel Kraybill & Hess LLP has hired Tracey B. Grinestaff and Ann L. Martin as associate attorneys.

Grinestaff, of Lancaster, previously was in-house legal counsel for Auntie Anne's. She will focus her practice on corporations and business associations, non-profit organizations, real estate transactions and estate planning and administration.

She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Widener University School of Law. Martin, of Lancaster, previously was East Asia program director for the Mennonite Central Committee. She will focus her practice on general litigation, land use and zoning, special education and civil rights law. She holds a bachelor's degree from Messiah College, a master's degree from Yale University and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.

CERTIFICATIONS: Nelson Hoover, a public utility consultant at Expense Reduction Services, of Lancaster, has earned the title of certified energy manager from the Association of Energy Engineers. Hoover, of Lancaster, is a graduate of Elizabethtown College.

--Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School has hired Timothy Heitz as associate vice president for stewardship. Heitz, of New Holland, previously was president of Superior Walls. He also has been a pastor and has chaired numerous development and fundraising committees of boards of non-profit organizations, churches and ministries.

Heitz has a bachelor's degree from Grove City College and a master's degree from Wesley Theological Seminary.

--Paul H. Buckwalter, president of Buckwalter Accounting and Financial Services, has earned the certified senior advisor designation from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. Buckwalter has worked in the accounting and investment field since 1964.
