UMB Chooses Addmaster Printers to Support System Rollout
MONROVIA, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Addmaster Corporation, a manufacturer of teller receipt and validation printers for some of the nation's most prominent financial institutions, announced today that it equipped Kansas City, Mo.-based UMB Financial Corporation (NASDAQ (GS): UMBF) with MJ1000 validation printers for its Kansas and Missouri branches.
The institution purchased over 100 printers to meet the unique validation requirements of a teller system that was being rolled out in its Kansas and Missouri branches. Addmaster agreed to reconfigure components within each of the newly acquired printers to conform to the requirements of their existing image proof system.
"Rollouts always require a tremendous amount of coordination," said Bob Maddern, project coordinator for network infrastructure for UMB. "We were installing the teller platform system and training employees to meet our project deadline. Addmaster was able to step in and work with us - making the modifications in the time necessary to enable us to have the system up and running by our target date."
"The MJ1000 printers work well for our environment and our price-point," said Bob Page, assistant vice president of purchasing for UMB. "Addmaster clearly demonstrated their willingness to work with us and customize the technology according to our needs."
"We understand that each of our customers has unique technical needs," said Hugh Clary, vice president of Addmaster. "It is important to us as an organization to produce superior technology and work with our customers to meet such needs in every way possible. Our ability to adapt is a primary reason for our 45 years of success as an industry leader."
The Addmaster MJ1000 prints a single line of up to 75 characters on bank documents (such as checks, cash tickets, & deposit slips).
