Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and REDBOOK Tap Limbo for Mobile Advertising Program

BURLINGAME, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- The Islands of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism is partnering with Limbo(TM), the world's largest mobile entertainment community, to sponsor a month-long new media advertising program across its integrated, full-service platform, including SMS, WAP, Internet and Email, plus a four-color, half-page advertisement in REDBOOK magazine. Similar Limbo Unique campaigns have garnered advertisers an average conversion to purchase of seven percent, an average of more than 50 branded interactions per SMS player and an average of 15 minutes per web gameplay session per online player.

"Our readers and clients have been highly responsive to our partnership with Limbo," said REDBOOK VP/Publisher Mary Morgan. "As the exclusive print marketing partner, we are able to collaborate with like-minded brands to offer innovative and valuable programs, and our readers are able to interact with them in the pages of REDBOOK, and in Limbo's online and mobile applications."

"Limbo's mobile advertising solutions are effective because they're all about fun. Players engage in a fun, free service that doesn't feel like advertising so they're receptive to the messages delivered via the most intimate media channel available -- the personal mobile phone," said Jonathon Linner, CEO of Limbo.

The new media campaign leverages Limbo's year-long relationship with REDBOOK and features an Islands of the Bahamas branded and stylized half-page advertisement, along with two prominent calls to action, for mobile and Internet entries, to play an interactive Limbo Unique game to win an exclusive Bahamas vacation prize package.

Since it launched in January 2006, Limbo has developed an integrated, full-service platform, including SMS, WAP, Mobile Video, Internet and Email. The company now offers traditional and contextual advertising opportunities through a host of exclusive services: original games (Limbo Unique and Limbo Grab), an original mobile gameshow (The Limbo Show), an internal rewards program (Limbo Loot), a plug-and-play rewards program for sweepstakes providers (Limbo Network) and free text alerts (Limbo Lowdown).
