Acacia Subsidiary Acquires Patents for Projector Technology

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced today that its Acacia Patent Acquisition Corporation subsidiary has acquired patents for projector technology.

This patented technology generally relates to products and systems that include optics for projecting images. This technology can be used in projectors for business and home theater applications, as well as rear projection TV's.
