telx's Miami Facility Adds FiberLight Network Infrastructure

(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) NEW YORK, NY, October 25 / MARKET WIRE/ --

telx, the premier operator of Meet Me Room and
Core Interconnection collocation Facilities in the United States, announces
the addition of FiberLight, the premier provider of dark fiber network
infrastructure, to their Miami Meet Me Room located at 36 North East 2nd
Street in Miami, Florida.

FiberLight designs, constructs and manages metro dark fiber rings in six
tier one cities and has affiliate agreements to provide fiber in 30 tier
203 metropolitan markets. With the addition of FiberLight, telx customers
in Miami can now interconnect to one of the region's most recognized
industry experts in the management and delivery of dark fiber solutions
providing a full array of services to wholesale carriers, large enterprise
customers, federal, state and local governments requiring metro fiber
connectivity in the Miami metropolitan region.

"We have built out our metro dark fiber ring into the telx Meet Me Room in
Miami because we know this will allow our company to provide key services
to the companies in the Miami metro markets who choose to collocate their
Core Interconnection equipment with telx," commented Kevin Coyne, COO of
FiberLight. "We have grown tremendously with telx in their Atlanta carrier
hotel and believe in their model in providing companies with ease of
connectivity to major network operators is the driver to our own success."

telx continues to grow and add not only customers but resources to the
Miami market. Recently the company expanded their team with the addition
of Kelly Joyce, an industry veteran with deep relationships with major
Latin and South American companies who require connectivity to major US
network and Global network operator networks in the Miami market.

"FiberLight has been a terrific partner, particularly in the South Eastern
portion of the United States where their dark fiber metro network is quite
extensive," said Hunter Newby, Chief Strategy Officer of telx. "Our model
has had proven success in New York and Atlanta and will no doubt create
efficiencies in the Miami market solving interconnectivity problems for
network operators who need access between the Americas."

telx is positioning Miami as a strong market for growth due to the growing
requirements of carriers and global enterprise network operators to gain
access to the major communication networks leading to and from Latin and
South America. According to Internet World Stats, who tracks Internet
population statistics, Internet users and population stats show North
American penetration at 69% and South and Central American penetration,
including the Caribbean at an average of 18%. In addition, with North
America's Internet users reaching 233 million with an estimated population
over 334 million and South and Central America and the Caribbean reaching
110 million Internet users combined compared to a combined population of
over 556 million, there appears to be a significant amount of growth of
communications yet to be realized between the Americas.
