Redhead Designs Ltd: Website design gains an audience with America(M2 PressWIRE Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) RDATE:09102007 A Milton Keynes based web company, Redhead Designs Ltd is celebrating as one of its designs helps a theatre producer secure an American premiere for their hit show Girls Night. Recently, a local newspaper reported on the phenomenal success story of Milton Keyneswriter and producer Louise Roche whose musical comedy Girls Night had just had its sensational American premiere. Louise, and husband Mark's production company Goodnights Entertainment were not only in the throes of a smash hit UK tour of the show starring Shobna Gulati (Coronation Street), but now had a new audience in America. US Producer Tim Flaherty of Entertainment Events Inc. had been looking at the internet for strong female-led product in the UK, come across the Girls Night website, and emailed Louise and Mark in Milton Keynes. The next step was a visit to the UKand before long the show was having its opening night stateside. Their next ambition of an opening night on Broadway isnt too far away! And it was another Milton Keynes company that were proud to have created the Goodnights' Girls Night website that received such international attention - creators Redhead Designs Ltd. Redhead Designs Ltd pride themselves on creating commercial but nonetheless unconventional websites and saw Girls Night as a unique challenge. Managing Director Kenton White "This is just the kind of creative project we love getting involved with. Having seen the show, I know that Girls Night is packed full of fun, energy and a lot of pink! All that had to be captured in its website and not only provide audiences with a practical tool for discovering information about the show - but communicate effectively just what they could expect from it." Redhead's extensive skills base of designers, animators and programmers means they can adopt an individually creative approach to all their clients. And they understand that with more and more theatres and touring companies investing in their new media provision, this approach is vital. "It's an exciting time for Theatre and the internet - with venues and companies using websites, e-flyers, games and online brochures. But none of these things have to cripple what can often be modest budgets. Our aim is to be affordable, effective, and become an integral part of Theatre marketing campaigns. E-marketing can be such an exceptional tool that we want to help turn creative e-marketing ideas into ticket sales" (Kenton White). And it doesn't just stop at websites, e-flyers and the like. Redhead Designs Ltd were recently responsible for mastering a twenty minute 3D animated reconstruction of Burton Latimer's high street as part of their Heritage project. One hundred and sixty buildings were lavished with such individual attention to detail that you could almost taste and smell the atmosphere of the village in 1918. It brought the period dramatically to life and enabled so many people, young and old, to access part of their village in a new and unique way. With a client base now including Goodnights Entertainment, Dancin Oxford 2008: Oxford Dance Festival, the BBC, Channel 4 and 5, Redhead's web designs and animation are providing more and more companies with creative solutions to their commercial needs.
