Exact Software Announces the Availability of Macola ES 372
ANDOVER, Mass. --(Business Wire)-- Exact Software(TM), a leading provider of solutions that connect the people, processes and knowledge essential to an organization, today announced the release of Exact Macola ES 372, which includes a number of new product features and enhancements focused on delivering greater business efficiencies to users.
Exact Macola ES has been a pioneer in the mid-market by being one of the first solutions to deliver native business process management capabilities. Exact Software has continued to deliver increased efficiencies to customer organizations and now brings embedded business intelligence (BI) and business analytics (BA) to the Macola ES product. Macola ES 372 now features an embedded Express User Interface for Exact Business Analytics(TM) (EBA).
The Express UI provides users with direct access to enterprise information in the form of on-screen cross-tabulations, reports and graphs without the need for a data warehouse. The simple, yet powerful interface delivers pre-packaged financial and supply chain analytics designed to empower all users with role relevant information.
The Express User Interface delivers critical features, such as on-demand data refresh with dynamic data aggregation across multiple databases; the ability to export reports as PDF or Microsoft Excel file; the ability to save personalized views; and a seamless update path that features rich Standard and Power UIs. With the introduction of the Express UI, Exact has made it simple and cost-effective for mid-market companies to deploy ERP capabilities to a greater number of users throughout the organization, without the need for extensive training.
Additional Macola ES 372 product enhancements include:
-- Ability to print "original" Crystal Reports-based business forms, including customer invoices, pick tickets, packing lists, bills of lading, and purchase orders
-- Screen improvements to the Cash Flow module for allocating cash receipts, disbursing bank costs and exporting unpaid invoices to a Microsoft Excel workbook
-- New inventory cycle counting option based on user-defined frequency
-- New Macola ES Menu Builder for adding external applications and launching customized Crystal Reports
-- Enhanced order entry to purchase order integration that matches customer order ship-via codes directly to drop ship purchase orders
-- New general ledger trial balance report options
-- Feature/option item production and sales processing with improved actual costing to help reduce WIP variances and provide accurate sales margin data
