Wells Fargo Promotes Paul Baldwin to Chief Operating Officer of Its American E & S Operations

Wells Fargo Insurance Services has promoted
Paul Baldwin to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its
American E & S (AES) operations.

In his new role, Baldwin will take an active role in strategic business
development within American E & S. His primary focus will be to support and
grow cross-sell opportunities within Wells Fargo Insurance Services, plan
and direct sales programs to develop new customers, and work with the
executive management committee in setting short and long term strategic
goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Baldwin was employed as a
Vice President for Aon Risk Services of Arizona from 1999-2003 where he was
a top performing new business consultant each year. From 1996-1999, he was
employed with Federated Insurance as the Regional Manager of Automotive
Specialty in their 10-State Western territory. From 1990-1996, he worked
for Universal Underwriters Group, a Zurich Company, as both a Producer and
Regional Manager in Michigan where he was responsible for operating a $20
million profit center specializing in automobile dealership insurance,
floorplan inventory, finance, warranty and business succession. In
addition, he was a consultant for more than a dozen state auto dealer
associations nationally.
