LogicalApps Bolsters Management Team(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) LogicalApps, a provider of embedded governance software for enterprise applications, announced the appointment of three new executives to its management team: Michele Shannon, vice president of product management; Max Hill, vice president sales Western Region; and Peter MacPherson, vice president sales Eastern Region. "Michele, Max and Peter are all proven, seasoned professionals who have had great success in their past positions," said Jim Zierick, president and CEO of LogicalApps. Shannon has more than nineteen years of experience in enterprise software, networking and telecommunications industries, focusing in the areas of product strategy, product management and technical sales. Prior to joining LogicalApps she ran the product management organization for Websense, a provider of security and web filtering software. Hill has twenty years of experience in the enterprise software marketplace focused on enterprise resource planning (ERP) and engineering software solutions. He spent 8 years at Oracle Corp. in ascending sales and sales management roles, including area director for Oracle's Western Strategic Accounts organization, focused on leading a senior sales team in selling to Oracle's largest clients. Before coming to LogicalApps, he ran national sales for a startup in the engineering portfolio management industry. Hill holds both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Washington. MacPherson has twenty years of sales and sales management experience in the enterprise application software space. Most recently he ran SAP's Insurance Vertical for the U.S. market where he tripled the business in three years. Prior to SAP he spent over ten years at Oracle in various sales management positions in major accounts where he last was vice president of Commercial Applications Sales for Oracle Canada. MacPherson holds a degree in Economics from Queen's University of Ontario, Canada.
