In addition to the CEO appointment, Mr. Joseph has also been named to OuterLink's Board of Directors. Mr. Joseph joins OuterLink from Corel Corporation (NASDAQ: CREL) where he served as Vice President of Business Development since 1994. "Andrew has a reputation for quickly developing and implementing creative strategies that fast track market adoption and revenue growth," said Paul Newcomb, OuterLink president and chairman. "He has extensive experience working with companies to create and execute business development strategies, and has played key roles in several successful merger and acquisition deals. Mr. Joseph is a 20 year technology industry veteran. As Corel's Vice President, Business Development, he was responsible for the company's global business development strategy which included building alliances with large technology organizations, joint ventures, OEM arrangements, mergers & acquisitions and key partnerships. During his tenure at Corel, he was responsible for driving corporate development strategy which led to the acquisitions of WinZip and InterVideo. As a member of the executive team Mr. Joseph was also involved in critical aspects of the company's IPO in May 2006. Prior to joining Corel, Mr. Joseph was an independent consultant working with high-profile technology organizations, such as ProfitLogic (acquired by Oracle), ATG, OrderMotion, NewScale, mValent and Hurwitz Associates, to create and implement business development strategies. He formed alliances with tier one technology vendors on behalf of clients, while helping define and implement a range of other strategic initiatives and programs. Previously, Mr. Joseph held several executive positions including Chief Operating Officer at Beaconvision, Vice President of Business Development at CommercialWare (acquired by MICROS Systems) where he was responsible for developing global strategic alliances and joint ventures. He has also held senior sales and marketing positions at Hancock Software (acquired by Executive Software) and OpenOrders (acquired by IBM). Mr. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Atlantic Union College.
