Active Capital Partners sells part of TMC shareholding to UK fund (Molins da entrada al fondo ingles Kennet en el lider de la telemedicina)

(Expansion Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Spanish venture capital firm Active Capital Partners, which is linked to the Molins family, has sold part of its shareholding in medical group European Telemedicine Clinic (TMC) to British fund Kennet Partners. Active Capital Partners, which was advised in the operation by GBS Finanzas, received five times its initial investment in the group, of which it acquired 16 per cent in September 2005.



TMC, which is based in Barcelona, is the leading company in the European sector. According to sources close to the process, the acquisition of the shares by Kennet Partners has completed a financing round designed to fund growth.
