Asante Networks announced the release of their first series of new
networking cameras and network video servers.

Asante's enterprise, Small-to-Medium (SMB) and Small Office/Home Office
(SOHO) technologies bring networking and security solutions to the
market. The NetCam is using a SONY CCD sensor with MPEG-4 and MJPEG
encoder technology.

Partners in Europe (PIE) will provide the sales infrastructure
necessary to bring Asante's networking cameras to a multi language
European customer base. PIE is a Pan European Sales company with its
own Direct Sales force covering all of Europe. The Company was
established in 1993 and has been responsible for major European sales
success stories for its US Clients. Partners in Europe sell to all of
the major European Retailers, E Tailers, & VAR/VAD Channel. In addition
to sales, PIE can ship products directly to its customers from their
50,000 sq foot facility. PIE also provides Pan European Multilingual
Customer service support for its customers.

PIE is a critical element in Asante Network's campaign to successfully
penetrate and capture a significant market share in the European
Market. PIE's sales, logistical, and support services will be essential
to the initial and ongoing marketing successes. The NetCam 8001 is a
combined network camera and pan-tilt device. It plugs directly into an
Ethernet network and delivers clear and sharp surveillance video/images
to any Internet browser via Ethernet or IP network.

Other benefits of the unit are the pan, tilt, digital zoom, wireless,
power over Ethernet, motion detection, numerous ways to record images
and review images. The NetCam is a true plug-n-play device and very
easy to install.

"Growth of the worldwide video surveillance market is predicted to
explode from US $4.9b in 2007 to more than US $9b in 2011 according to
Market research firm iSuppli Corp., in an article published in EE Times
Online on March 20. Our Asante networking cameras fit right into this
market segment, and we believe it can become a dominant player in this
market space," said Bina Patel, Asante Network's VP of Sales and
Marketing. "The European market needs quality products that provide
price/performance benefits. We believe that there are significant
revenue opportunities for Asante in Europe."

The cameras will be available from Partners in Europe in mid September,
and interested buyers can obtain additional information at
