SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- IT/Redux, New Rules for a New IT World, today announced a partnership with Veodia to broadcast all four conference tracks on the Web. The live broadcast will be open to the general public, free of charge, and will be available from 8 a.m. PT to 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, September 6, and Friday, September 7. To watch the live broadcast, please visit http://o2con.com.

The Office 2.0 Conference is a collective experiment organized every year in San Francisco and aimed at discovering the future of online productivity and collaboration. It is a unique gathering of visionaries, thought leaders, and customers using innovative online services for getting things done at the office, at home, and on the go.

"IT/Redux's use of Veodia to record and broadcast videos is an excellent example of how we enable broadcasters to engage a live online audience, while instantly preserving high quality video for on-demand viewing," says Par Gandhi, vice president of marketing at Veodia. "We're excited to work with IT/Redux by not only making it easy for conference attendees to view any session via their iPhones, but we're also helping to open up the conference to a global audience, watching in high-quality live video straight from the conference website."

"Clients such as APC, Frog Design and the University of Michigan have discovered how easily Veodia broadcasts live high-quality video and preserves it instantly in a private Web-based library for you to view, share, or podcast. As office collaboration becomes increasingly Web-based we're excited to support IT/Redux's goal to increase online collaboration and shared learning in the workplace," continued Gandhi.

Added Ismael Ghalimi, Intalio CEO and conference producer, "The live broadcast of all four conference tracks in high-quality video is also made possible thanks to partnerships with Covad and Swisscom. Together, they built a scalable network for the conference, with a symmetric 30Mbps connection to the Internet, and over 40 Wifi access points deployed throughout the hotel, in order to support the needs of over 600 attendees using their iPhones to interact during the event."

The Office 2.0 Conference is sponsored by Etelos, Fenwick & West, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Swisscom, ThinkFree, WebEx Communications, BEA Systems (NASDAQ:BEAS), Caspio, Coghead, Covad, Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), Intalio, Jive Software, OQO, SAP (NASDAQ:SAP), Zoho, 3TERA, Atlassian, CentralDesktop, Cogenz, ConnectBeam, ContactOffice, Corel (NASDAQ:CREL), Diigo, Docgle, DynoPlex, EchoSign, EditGrid, Empressr, GlobalLogic, Huddle, Ikordo, iNetOffice, InvisibleCRM, Jotlet, Leverage Software, LongJump, Persony, QlipMedia, ServePath, SharedInsights, ShareMethods, SiteKreator, SixApart, Smartsheet.com, Sosius, spigit, Spresent, Techdirt, ThoughtFarmer, TIBCO Software (NASDAQ:TIBX), TimeBridge, Veodia, Vyew, Atlassian, Hinchcliffe & Company, Inovis, Ipevo, Nokia, Optoma, Pano Logic, Plantronics, and Violet.
