TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 28, 2007) - PokerRoom.com, one of the largest poker sites on the Internet, is introducing Mini Tables, a new multi-tabling feature that allows players to play up to 12 poker games simultaneously.

The trend of multi-tabling has added a new element to online poker. Previously, players could play up to four tables at once, clicking back and forth between several screens. PokerRoom has optimized the process with the introduction of Mini Tables. Players now have the option to reduce the screen size of their original poker game, allowing up to 12 real-time games to be played simultaneously on one screen.

"Online poker players are always interested in game features that enhance the level of the game," said Karin Klein, bwin spokesperson for PokerRoom.com. "Mini Tables will test the concentration level and multi-tasking abilities of our most experienced players."

The Mini Tables feature is downloadable through Windows Poker Client. The application can be enabled by right clicking on a poker table and choosing the preferences option or by clicking on a button at the bottom right corner of the table. The setting takes affect the next time a player opens a table. Mini Tables have a resolution of 502x355 pixels - much smaller compared to the original 800x600 pixels games.
