Mindreef Bolsters Executive Team(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Mindreef has announced the appointment of Shari Zedeck as Vice President of Marketing and Dr. Myron Zimmerman as Vice President of Engineering. Zedeck is responsible for driving the marketing strategy, tactics and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for the Mindreef SOAPscope product family. Zimmerman is responsible for overseeing R&D, product development, customer support and quality assurance. Both were instrumental in leading the recent introduction of SOAPscope Server 6.0, SOAPscope Workstation 6.0, Mindreef Load Check and Mindreef Policy Rules Manager, and both report directly to Mindreef CEO, Lars Borgwing. "Mindreef continues to be at the forefront of helping enterprises and Fortune 100 companies leverage SOA to streamline daily business processes and support change, without compromising future flexibility," said Borgwing. Zedeck is an industry veteran with 25 years experience in software development, support, product management and marketing. Prior to joining Mindreef, she served as director of product management for the OpenEdge Division of Progress Software, a global provider of application infrastructure software. Prior to that, Zedeck was director of product management and marketing for the NuMega Lab of Compuware Corp., delivering DevPartner development and debugging tools for Java and Microsoft development. In her 12-year tenure at Hewlett-Packard and Apollo, Zedeck held a number of positions working on graphics, developer tools and CORBA-based technologies, but never strayed far from her development roots. . Dr. Zimmerman brings more than 25 years of management and technical experience to Mindreef. Prior to joining the company, Dr. Zimmerman was the CTO and founder of VenturCom, Inc. a company focusing on the embedded software market. In addition to currently serving as a Partner of The Aptec Group, he is also co-founder and director of two medical signal processing companies; helped spin off a contract development business; co-founded the Boston Technical Executive network; and served as CTO of Certeon, an application acceleration company. Dr. Zimmerman has authored Windows, UNIX, real-time and embedded articles, and has chaired and presented at numerous trade shows.
