ASUS Licenses HelloSoft's Echo Cancellation Technology

HelloSoft, a provider of VoIP technologies for mobile devices,
announced that ASUSTeK Computer (ASUS), a provider of 3C total
solutions, licensed HelloSoft's echo cancellation technology for use in
ASUS's dual-mode 3G handsets.

HelloSoft noted that its products can enable mobile device
manufacturers to design and architect products that are power-efficient
and provide substantial cost benefits.

"With HelloSoft's highly optimized and power-efficient echo
cancellation technology integrated into ASUS's multi-mode handsets,
users can enjoy the benefits of high quality voice coupled with reduced
power consumption at lower costs," said H.C Huang, Vice President,
Mobile Division of ASUS. "We believe HelloSoft's technology will be a
great addition to the ASUS mobile handset product family."

ASUS's mobile devices are designed to integrate the convenience of
mobile phone functionality and enrich the mobile working environment --
providing the consumer with an affordable yet stylish look and feel.

"By providing ASUS with our highly optimized echo cancellation
technology for their mobile devices, we have demonstrated the benefits
of HelloSoft's software-based echo canceller solution," said Rama
Sreeramaneni, HelloSoft's Vice President and General Manager for VoIP.

HelloSoft's software-based echo cancellation technology ensures the
best voice quality at reduced costs for handset manufactures globally."
