Clarkston Medical Group Selects Sage Software Healthcare, Inc. for Replacement PACS
TAMPA, Fla. --(Business Wire)-- Sage Software Healthcare, Inc. has announced that Clarkston Medical Group, a 15-physician medical group based in Clarkston, Mich., has selected Intergy PACS by Sage, powered by Dynamic Imaging's IntegradWeb(R) PACS, as its picture archive and communications system (PACS) of choice. The selection comes as a result of Clarkston's need to migrate from a legacy PACS to a Web-based solution that enhances portability, image and report access, and cost savings.
Physicians and staff at Clarkston were previously working with an older PACS that was insufficient to support the needs of the growing practice. Physicians and staff at Clarkston evaluated several other PACS that would allow them to eliminate analog studies and more easily access and share patient images and reports, regardless of when the original studies were performed. The group chose Intergy PACS for several reasons, including its user-friendly interface which is the same for all users, the ability to easily transfer and convert old legacy data, and the fact that an unlimited number of users can have access to the system simultaneously.
