Tizor Systems Names Douglas Mazlish as New VP of Channel and Business Development(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Tizor Systems, a provider of enterprise data auditing and protection solutions for the data center, announced the appointment of Douglas Mazlish as Vice President of Channel and Business Development. A former VP at Microsoft's Whale Communications Subsidiary, Mazlish joins Tizor with more than 20 years of global technology, business development and product marketing experience. Mazlish will drive Tizor's worldwide partner and channel programs, strategic alliances and corporate development. In this role, he will increase partnerships with experts in compliance security (PCI and SOX) and data theft protection, as well as head partner strategy development including recruitment, training, sales and marketing programs. Key partners will include systems integrators, VARs, distributors, ISVs and other technology leaders. Prior to joining Tizor Systems, Mazlish held global channel sales development and business development positions with industry leaders such as Whale Communications, a provider of SSL VPN market. After Whale was acquired, Mazlish led the worldwide launch of the Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 product. While serving as vice president of business development at SMARTS, an infrastructure management company, Mazlish developed a worldwide channel partner program that quickly grew partner revenue to a significant percentage of total revenue, Tizor noted in a release.
