IMS Forum Announces Third Plugfest, Further Advancing Interoperability & Certification for IMS Services

Denver, CO � August 2, 2007, the IMS Forum®, the industry�s only association dedicated to IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) application and service interoperability certification, announced today the third IMS Plugfest� scheduled for October 15 through 19, 2007 at the UNH InterOp Lab (IOL) in New Hampshire. IMS Forum Plugfests deliver interoperability for cost effective (OPEX and CAPEX) "Quadruple Play" revenue generating applications and services.
The IMS Forum also announced that Empirix will be a Platinum Sponsor and that Intel and Sonus Networks will be Gold Sponsors of the Plugfest III event. The initial Plugfest III participants announced today are Acision (News - Alert), ARGELA Technologies, Coppercom, Data Connection Ltd, Empirix, Ixia, Mavenir Systems, Mu Security, NE Technologies/MARBEN, RADVISION, Reef Point, Sonus Networks, Starent Networks, and Tekelec. IMSF Plugfest III results to be revealed at Fall VON 2007 (www.VON.com) in Boston.
