Unified Communications Solutions in Focus at TMC's INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West 2007
NORWALK, Conn. --(Business Wire)-- The editors at Technology Marketing Corporation's (TMC) INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine have released an updated conference program for the upcoming INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO West 2007 (ITEXPO) in Los Angeles. The conference features a series of ten sessions educating attendees about how to select and deploy unified communications solutions in their organizations. The conference and trade show is being held September 10-12, 2007 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The entire program schedule can be viewed at the event's Web site, http://www.itexpo.com.
While unified communications (UC) are certainly the 'buzz' application of 2007, INTERNET TELEPHONY group editorial director and ITEXPO program creator, Greg Galitzine, wonders if the enterprises, SMBs and government agencies these solutions are created for really understand what's involved in deploying UC.
"Vendors building UC solutions, and the media to some extent, are very skilled at ratcheting up the noise about the 'latest and greatest' new communications application. I built the conference program for ITEXPO West with the UC end-user in mind - acknowledging that the bombardment of publicity surrounding UC does not necessarily include details about actually deploying a solution," explained Galitzine.
"The sessions at ITEXPO explain in detail how to effectively select and deploy UC - AND how to maximize the effectiveness of your new solution for years to come," Galitzine added.
According to Rich Tehrani, TMC's president and conference chairman, ITEXPO provides the perfect forum for organizations seeking UC to mix unbiased education with vendor meetings on the show floor.
"By combining nearly eight hours of educational sessions focused on UC with the opportunity to take what you've learned and ask smart questions of vendors on the show floor, ITEXPO helps attendees condense literally months of research into three amazingly productive days, in one venue. To me, the investment in a trip to the conference more than pays for itself by dramatically reducing the time it takes to identify and install the correct solution," said Tehrani.
