Technology: Ingersoll Rand looks to Europe
(PR Week Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Hare Carding Communications is to handle a pan-European media relations campaign for technology and construction conglomerate Ingersoll Rand.
The agency was appointed by the climate control arm of the conglomerate, with a remit to raise awareness of the company's product range across the UK and Europe.
The Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Group's products include Thermo King - a vehicle control system.
Hare Carding director Michelle Hamilton will head up the account.
Ingersoll Rand recently made the news on the back of coverage of the Live Earth concert. Madonna, who headlined the event, attracted criticism when it was discovered that her Ray of Light Foundation owns millions of pounds of shares in Ingersoll Rand and some of its competitors, including BP and Alcoa - all of which are all considered to be major polluters
