JAJAH Reduces Call Rates in India

TMCnet Contributing Editor

According to a MarketWire report, JAJAH has dramatically reduced rates for calls to and from India.

From now until India Independence Day (August 15), users making calls to and from India and North America and the U.K., only have to pay as low as 7.3 cents/minute (3.2 INR). This cost is far below the standard telecom rates currently applicable in the country. Also, consumers will earn free points when they refer their friends to Jajah community.

With the phenomenal growth of IT industry in India, lot of Indians find themselves separated from their family and friends, working on foreign shores. If their friends or family wants to call them, the costs involved are steep. Now, with this new service from JAJAH, they can keep in touch and do not worry about the expenses. According to Venky Ganesan, a partner at venture fund Globespan, and an early investor in JAJAH, by harnessing the intelligence of the Internet, and delivering superior-quality, cut-rate phone service over any phone, JAJAH is helping Indians all over the world to connect in the most sensible way.

Roman Scharf, JAJAH CEO and co-founder goes a step further and declares that the long term commitment of the company is to make the voice free. JAJAH aims at expanding its vision and growing its global network providing global service at rates far below the industry standard and by rewarding people for referring others to the network.

The process of calling is very simple too. To make a call though the JAJAH network, go to www.jajah.com, and enter their numbers and the number they wish to call. JAJAH will call back both the parties over any phone line. No additional equipments like headsets, phone plans, or calling cards are required.
