Republik ad agency gets yacht business


(News & Observer, The (Raleigh, NC) (KRT) Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Jun. 21--DURHAM -- The Republik advertising agency said it won the advertising accounts of two yacht makers, Carver Yachts and Marquis Yachts, both of which are owned by Genmar Industries of Minneapolis.



The combined market budget for the two brands is more than $3 million a year, said Robert Shaw West, chief executive officer of The Republik, which has 15 employees and is based in Durham.

The Republik has worked for Genmar's Triumph Boats division since 2005.


Triumph is headquartered in Durham.
