Aurora Celebrates Gowth and Customer Confidence with Release of Four New Innovative Solutions

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Media Inquires: John Dahlquist, Vice President, Marketing, 408.235.7033

Santa Clara, Calif., June 7, 2007 Since Aurora started shipping its advanced optical networking solutions to the cable industry in 2002, its equipment has been deployed by the largest multiple system operators (MSO) in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia. During the same period, Aurora achieved a compound growth rate of 50 percent and became the worlds third largest supplier to the broadband cable market. This month, the global leader celebrates its growth and customer confidence with the release of four new innovative products and a powerful presence at the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers Cable-Tec Expo in Orlando.

We have a lot to celebrate: our creative innovations and dedicated focus have earned the trust of MSOs around the globe and allowed Aurora to become one of the worlds largest and most respected suppliers, said John Dahlquist, Aurora Networks vice president of marketing. We commend our employees for sharing their knowledge, and we thank our customers for selecting Auroras enlightened solutions to achieve their service visions.

On June 11 the company will release its Node PON Module, the engine of its fiber-to-the-premise 5G Node that enables 100 times more capacity than conventional data delivery methods to deploy ultra high-speed data services to lucrative business and residential customers.

On June 12 Aurora will release additional wavelengths of its AT3300L series 1 GHz LcWDM (Low-cost Wave Division Multiplexing) Transmitters. Developed to provide the increased bandwidth capacity per fiber needed to meet increasing subscriber demand for HDTV, VoIP, VOD and high-speed DOCSIS services, Auroras LcWDM transmitters lower the cost of segmenting (splitting) node service areas by enabling the reuse of existing fiber up to six times at distances up to 25 kilometers.

On June 20, Aurora will unveil a 1 GHz Essential Features Node Platform that optimizes the reliability and affordability of fiber deep architectures. Also on that date, Aurora will debut enhancements to its CWDM Ethernet transport solution featuring SMART Media Converter technology.
Aurora Networks continues to leverage its broadband expertise and award-winning engineering to develop solutions that provide cable operators with distinct competitive advantages, stated Doug Combs, Auroras vice president of network architectures and field services.

Aurora Networks will showcase its newest solutions and complete portfolio of optical transport systems in booth 2073 at the SCTEs Cable-Tec Expo in Orlando on June 20-22, 2007.
