CAF and Alarco secure contract (CAF/Alarco: contrato de 110 millones para el tranvia de la ciudad turca de Antalya)


(Expansion Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) A consortium comprising Spanish rolling stock manufacturer CAF and Turkish construction firm Alarco has secured a turnkey contract to supply a complete tram system for the Turkish city of Antalya. The contract includes the design, development and construction of the system for a dual line measuring 11.1km. The consortium will also have to build 16 stations along the route and a maintenance depot and provide signalling equipment.



CAF will supply 14 trams, each with a capacity of 305 passengers, electricity and signalling equipment. The contract is worth 110m euros.
