Jersey Telecom Group Chooses MACH’s New Market Leading Financial Clearing Solution Over Direct Competitor
- Financial Clearing from MACH is the first major project following the merger with Cibernet –
Luxembourg, 29th May, 2007 – MACH, the leading global clearing and settlement partner for mobile based transactions, today announced that the Jersey Telecom Group (JTG) has changed Financial Clearing House from their previous service supplier and have chosen to deploy MACH’s new Financial Clearing solution. This is the first project MACH has undertaken since its merger with Cibernet providing JTG with an integrated solution that is underpinned by the One1Clear system, developed originally by Cibernet.
JTG, who already deploy MACH’s Data Clearing service, will also roll out the new Financial Clearing platform across its WAVE Telecom and Navitas Telecom subsidiaries. JTG currently possess one of the most advanced telecoms networks in Europe utilising the very latest technology, made possible by over 100 years of investment.
MACH’s Financial Clearing solution will provide JTG with a number of key benefits to ensure that the group continues to excel in the European and Maritime Telecoms arena. The new platform offers JTG and its roaming partners with complete transparency. Operators in the past suffered delays when it came to securing revenues from roaming and the new solution provides visibility of data in real time to eliminate the bottlenecks for billing and revenue transfer.
Cara Murphy, Head of Commercial Administration at JTG said, “The product itself is without doubt the marketplace leader. That coupled with the on-going operational support and account management, made it the only choice for us.
"We are absolutely confident that by moving our Financial Clearing over to MACH, we will receive the excellent service and account management that we already enjoy through MACH Data Clearing.”
Terence Ledger, Chief Commercial Officer at MACH commented, “Our combined expertise in clearing high-volume data transactions combined with a deep understanding of the Financial Clearing market means we can offer some of the most advanced solutions available to operators. With its forward thinking approach and a customer focus at its core, MACH is well positioned for future growth within the evolving telecoms industry. We will continue to provide operators with both the technology and access to best practise business models to help them secure additional revenue streams.”
MACH’s upgraded and streamlined Financial Clearing process will be centralised to provide even greater accuracy and will include a rigorous debt management process that will run concurrently. It will provide swift and seamless processing via a full end to end solution.
Cara Murphy, Head of Commercial Administration at JTG concluded: “MACH, over the years, have taken the time to understand our requirements and more importantly, our business as a whole. Having both our Data and Financial Clearing in one place, with a company we trust, makes absolute sense.”
