Braun, in an effort to fund his quest for Formula 1, is launching a new line of digital video recording products for adventurous sports enthusiasts. In a release, the company noted that the EdgeCamera will mount on almost any surface, can record up to two hours of "solid excitement," and weighs less than a pound. EdgeCameras.com offers multiple systems including the EdgeCam 100, EdgeCam 1500, EdgeCam 1600, and the RallyCam 2000. All recording systems come with one 480 tv line bullet camera, a 3.228" x 2.667" x .63" digital video recording device, DVR housing, a 1GB SD memory card, USB download cables and mounts necessary for initial assembly. In addition to the basic system, upgrades and accessories include a 520 tv line bullet camera, larger SD memory cards, crush and waterproof casing, additional mounts, and up to three additional cameras. EdgeCameras.com also has diversified its initial line of racing products to include aqua camera systems. The AquaTube enables divers and snorkelers to safely use their own video camera equipment to a depth of 200 feet, the company noted in a release.
