Bluesocket Announces Global Expansion

LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)-- Bluesocket, Inc., the leader in open wireless network, security and management solutions, has announced it has expanded its global presence by opening a new corporate office in Singapore and adding two international distribution partners - Brazil-based TDec Network Group and Middle East-based Minerva. These strategic moves will help Bluesocket to grow its international customer base in key vertical markets such as education, healthcare, finance and telecommunications.

"As worldwide demand for Bluesocket mobility solutions continues to grow, we are strategically expanding our global coverage and engaging with a number of new key distribution partners," said Mads Lillelund, CEO at Bluesocket. "We are pleased to announce our partnerships with TDec and Minerva, both experienced distributors with well-established market presence. Additionally, our expansion in Singapore will enhance our ability to deliver our award-wining wireless solutions to the fast-growing Asia Pacific region."

Bluesocket has been actively selling wireless products and supporting customers in Asia since 2001. Capitalizing on the region's strong growth, Bluesocket's new Singapore location consolidates the management of the company's APAC sales and customer services operations in the region.

Bluesocket's distribution agreement with Minerva, one of the Middle East's leading distributors of wireless products, supports the rapid development and aggressive adoption of wireless technologies in the Middle East. TDec Network Group, an information security solutions, services and consulting provider, will represent Bluesocket in Brazil. Both distributors will now offer customers the complete Bluesocket mobility solution, including BlueSecure Access Points, BlueSecure Controllers, the BlueView Management System and LAN planning and network security products.

"We are very pleased to add Bluesocket's mobility solution to our offering," said Leo Psaras, CEO at Minerva. "Our customers are looking for ways to make their employees more productive with wireless access to both data and voice services while ensuring the security and efficiency of their networks. By adding Bluesocket products to our offering, Minerva is guaranteeing its customers a reliable and secure wireless experience."

"Unrivaled technical expertise, quality and value are a must for our customers," added Jose Castro, Jr., director at TDec. "Our partnership with Bluesocket will help us to meet these goals and offer customers optimal wireless access, performance and security. Not only will this help increase network performance, but it will also enable our customers to easily expand their networks and adopt new technologies in the future."

Bluesocket's agreement with TDec will cover Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Columbia, while its agreement with Minerva will cover the Middle East, North Africa, Greece, Cyprus and Pakistan.
