AT&T and Antenna Software Join Forces to Transform Wireless CRM

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- Antenna Software, Inc., a leader in mobile enterprise technologies and solutions, today announced that it has aligned with AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) to jointly market and sell best-in-class mobile customer relationship management (CRM) solutions powered by AT&T's wireless data network into the enterprise market. This relationship gives AT&T customers access to Antenna's enterprise-ready mobile solutions for Oracle Siebel and Siebel CRM On Demand on a variety of wireless devices.

AT&T is also using AMP Studio, Antenna's mobile application development environment, an integral part of the Antenna Mobility Platform (AMP), to wirelessly enable Siebel CRM and deploy to its wireless business-to-business sales team on BlackBerry, Palm and Pocket PC devices. AT&T's wireless sales representatives will have the ability to view, update and create accounts, opportunities and contacts, as well as review contract and order information in real time from their wireless handheld.

"Our alliance with Antenna Software underscores how wireless data is exploding across the enterprise space," said Jeff Bradley, vice president, wireless business data services, for AT&T. "Companies are now moving beyond wireless e-mail and exploring other business processes that can be extended to a mobile environment using their existing wireless handheld assets. This powerful offering from AT&T and Antenna Software is an outstanding example of these types of 'next-generation' wireless data solutions that companies will be able to deploy quickly and easily right into the palms of their mobile employees' hands."

The alliance between Antenna and AT&T is a significant next step in the companies' five-year relationship, and aligns the strengths of both companies to make mobile CRM truly enterprise-ready. By tightly coupling ATT's wireless data network and Antenna's mobile solution, organizations can leverage each of the companies' many years of experience in the mobile marketplace to reap the benefits of a comprehensive and field-proven wireless solution.

With Antenna and AT&T, businesses can now easily and quickly automate, enhance and extend the complex daily business processes of sales, and strategically tie in data from other enterprise systems, so that customers can enjoy maximum reliability, performance, and transaction integrity.

AT&T and Antenna will offer dedicated sales and marketing resources to drive enterprise CRM adoption.

"The comprehensive go-to-market plan defined by Antenna and AT&T is based on the foundation of success we have developed over the past five years, including several joint customer wins and award-winning enterprise deployments," said Jim Hemmer, CEO and president of Antenna Software. "Together, we are now positioned to lead by example, highlighting the importance of mobility and demonstrating the flexibility and extensibility of key business applications, all of which will accelerate net new business opportunities."

"The next few years represent a transitional period when companies should begin optimizing their mobility initiatives," said Michael King, Research Director at Gartner, Inc. "Enterprises should look to invest in strategic mobile solutions -- capable of supporting multiple applications, managing devices, and securing data and transport -- and limit tactical deployments that support only single applications."
