Blue Shield of California Names Vice Presidents(BestWire Services Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Blue Shield of California named five new vice presidents within the companys human resources, information technology and sales units. Anurang Revrei and David Arnold Jr. were promoted to vice president positions in enterprise architecture and eCommerce solutions, and applications and products, respectively. Brent Hitchings was named vice president of producer sales. Garry Ronco was named vice president of learning and development in human resources. Priscilla Muniz has been promoted to vice president of human resources. Revrei has served as senior director of eCommerce and enterprise architecture since joining Blue Shield in 2005. Prior to that, he worked with Charles Schwab and MphasiS, a global IT and BPO services company. Most recently, Arnold had been senior product executive for corporate IT with Firemans Fund Insurance Co. before joining Blue Shield in 2006. Ronco had previously served as senior vice president of human resources for JDSU Inc. He also held executive positions with Lucent Technologies, Cisco Systems and Sun Microsystems. Prior to joining Blue Shield in 2004, Muniz had worked as chief learning officer for People Soft Inc. Blue Shield of California is a not-for-profit health-care company.
