Columbitech Signs Contract With U.S. Retailer for Initial Order Worth $2.5 Million
NEW YORK --(Business Wire)-- Columbitech, a leading mobile VPN security software provider, today announced a major customer win with a leading U.S. retailer. This contract for software licenses and services has an initial order value of $2.5 million. Deployment will be completed in Q2 2007.
As of today, several retailers totaling more than 10,000 stores have selected Columbitech in order to fulfill the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Requirements for all their in-store wireless networks.
Providing the latest state-of-the-art security for all new and legacy systems, including DOS handhelds and POS applications, the Columbitech embedded software is completely transparent to the work force and can be deployed without additional investments and further changes in existing wireless infrastructure and without interruption of daily business.
