M5 Networks reveals new voice to text service

(Tele.com Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) M5 Networks, a provider of outsourced IP phone systems, reported on Friday (30 March) the launch of a new voicemail transcription service, M5Scribe.

The new service is in partnership with SimulScribe, a voicemail to text service provider. It will allow subscribers to receive voicemails as text and audio files to any mobile phone or e-mail account. The company said that its new service will enable users to access voicemails without having to dial voicemail systems or listen to a file from their e-mail accounts. No pricing details of the new service were disclosed.

Discussions:
Phonewire.com has been doing voicemail-to-text for years using much more reliable human transcribers! I tried Simulscribe and it isn't nearly accurate enough for business use.
