The system merges conventional landline and internet telephony in a single platform. In doing so, the Berlin-based hardware specialists from Junghanns.NET provide the components for ISDN network access, while ADDIX provides the configuration user interface and the necessary software, thus proving that their reputation as software specialists is more than justified. Four S0 interfaces are available to the user, which may be individually configured for internal and external use. The Cruise phone supports more than 40 VoIP accounts. Apart from the most basic functions like call switching, three-way and conference calling, call-waiting, and direct dial-in, the unit also supports more valuable functions such as call through, music on hold, customized day/night settings, and ENUM. 15 conversations may be held simultaneously over ISDN and VoIP (protocol-independent through SIP or IAX2).
