Pronexus signs distribution agreement with Japan's CBA

(Tele.com Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) A distribution agreement has been signed by Pronexus Inc, a software company that provides solutions and development tools for voice-enabling business processes, with Communication Business Avenue Inc (CBA), a distributor of CTI products in Japan.

CBA will market, distribute, service and support VBVoice, the Rapid Application Development environment from Pronexus, used to create IVRs, telephony and speech solutions, under the terms of the agreement.

The companies said CBA is now able to offer a development tool for customers that uses the Microsoft .NET platform and Visual Studio .NET for maximum developer productivity.

CBA claimed VBVoice will allow it to address the needs of those developers wishing to create telephony and speech solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform, which it stated represent a substantial market in its region. It will provide an English and localised Japanese version of VBVoice.

VBVoice is used to create flexible, scalable speech-enabled IVR applications along with hardware-less VoIP solutions, including call centre applications, emergency response systems and bill payment solutions.
