Savin Introduces New Digital Imaging Systems
WEST CALDWELL, N.J. --(Business Wire)-- Savin, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the Savin 9016/9021d Series digital imaging systems. An exceptional choice for offices seeking an all-in-one solution to boost productivity, the Savin 9016/9021d multifunction product (MFP) blends simplicity and convenience with a compact design.
The Savin 9016/9021d is equipped with a myriad of user-friendly, timesaving features, which empower the user to copy, print, scan and fax from one dynamic device. The 9016spf and 9021dspf are pre-configured and offer digital copying, printing, scanning and faxing standard. They produce high-quality hardcopies, with the 9016 outputting at 16 pages per minute, and the 9021d at 21 pages per minute. A generous maximum paper capacity of 1,600 sheets and stackless duplexing on the 9021d ensure uninterrupted job flow. Additional productivity-driving options include a 30-sheet Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) for the 9016 and 9021d or a 50-sheet Automatic Reversing Document Feeder (ARDF) to process two-sided documents for the 9021d.
In addition, Savin has launched the 9016s and 9021ds that provide copying, PCL6 printing and TWAIN scanning capabilities standard and is ideal for windows-based environments. Scan-to and fax capabilities have been eliminated in an effort to better position these systems for cost conscious customers.

The PDF Direct Print function also eases congestion by allowing the user to print a PDF document without opening the application. In addition, Savin's intuitive Refined Print Command Stream (RPCS) icon-based print driver lets users save job settings and run them with a single mouse click. To further ease the paper burden, the Savin 9016/9021d's advanced scanning features allow users to convert documents to TIFF or PDF files and send them directly to recipients' email addresses or network folders.
Equipped with a broad range of faxing features, the Savin 9016/9021d offers a Super G3 modem, transmitting as swiftly as three seconds per page. The Internet Fax function reduces paper costs and long-distance and international phone charges, as users send scanned documents directly to Internet-enabled facsimile systems. By sending faxes directly from a PC and by automatically forwarding inbound faxes directly to e-mail addresses or network folders, users can save additional time and paper.
Document management and security remain a priority for Savin. With Savin's advanced Scan-to technology, documents can be sent to any network destination cost-free. Protecting sensitive paper and electronic information, the Savin 9016/9021d features address book encryption, User Authentication and Mask Type for Copying, which embeds messages that appear if a document is copied. Savin also facilitates seamless network integration with its proprietary @Remote Intelligent Management System, which eliminates manual meter readings, and Web SmartDeviceMonitor(TM) and Web Image Monitor(TM) utilities, which allow users to monitor system status and settings from their desktops.
