[February 09, 2007] Convergys partners with Tribold to add new capabilities to Infinys Tweet (Tele.com Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), a provider of customer care, human resources and billing services, and Tribold, a provider of Product Management enterprise software, announced on Thursday (8 February) the enhancement of Convergys' Infinys Business Support System with additional product management capabilities. The integration of Tribold's Product Portfolio Manager application software is expected to enable Communication Service Providers (CSP) to centralize key product data into a single enterprise catalog, improving data integration, product lifecycle management, business intelligence, and channel management. According to the companies, the integration of Tribold's suite of Product Management application software to the Infinys BSS solution allows CSPs to create, manage, and control their products end-to-end, from business case development to product retirement, within a single view across disparate BSS and OSS systems. This is expected to enable improvements in a CSP's product management performance, reducing time to market for convergent services and at the same time increasing profit margins.
