AirMed International Offers Customers "Peace of Mind" With Cistera Networks' Quality Assurance Solutions

Cistera Networks (News - Alert) (OTCBB: CNWT), a leading provider of enterprise application platforms and engines for IP Communications, announced today that AirMed International, LLC of Birmingham, Alabama, has added new features and functionality to its Cisco IP Communications deployment with the addition of Cistera's Quality Assurance and Compliance Solution. This system enhancement will support AirMed's commitment to continuously improve customer care and responsiveness.

AirMed's highly experienced flight and medical crews are accustomed to the intricacies of providing long distance transports, completing over 10,000 missions in over 150 countries on six continents. Over the past two years, AirMed has flown to more than 125 foreign destinations on five continents, visiting 56 of those within the past twelve months to provide global medical evacuation services for its members. AirMed owns and operates its own aircraft and employs medical staff to provide hospital quality care in the air. AirMed provides "peace of mind" for its members -- describing membership as "like an auto club except you're the car."

With members depending on the company's 24x7 medical communications center to provide help anywhere in the world whenever it is needed, the company deployed a Cisco Unified Communications solution. To maximize the functionality of the solution, it incorporated the CisteraConvergenceServer (CCS), the popular enterprise application platform for IP Communications. AirMed deployed Cistera Networks' CallCenterRecordEnhanced (CCRE) to provide continuous call recording, monitoring and archiving at its medical communications center, and licensed QuickRecord (QR) for users at other locations. By recording all calls into the medical communications center, the company is able to document its response to each request for assistance, and archive the files for reference. Other features of CCRE allow for supervisors to monitor calls for quality assurance purposes. Incorporating QR provides recording capabilities on an "as needed" basis.

"Cistera has provided significant added value to our IPT investment, enabling us to better serve our members," commented Robert Carver, IT Director at AirMed International. "The implementation went smoothly, and we have had excellent post-implementation support."

"AirMed is a good example of how IP Communications can become a strategic competitive advantage through the enablement of unmatched customer responsiveness. It is hard to find an industry where customer responsiveness and quality assurance are more critical than healthcare," said Greg Royal, CTO for Cistera Networks. "We are proud to have built a product that helps customers reach these new levels of customer service."
