AudioSoft Expands into North America Through Appointment of VP Sales and Marketing

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)-- AudioSoft (www.audiosoft-usa.com), the digital voice and data recording specialist, has announced its expansion into the US market through the appointment of Dr. Nick Porter to its International Sales Team as VP Sales and Marketing (USA).

Originally from England, Nick is now based in San Diego, California and will be responsible for the development of AudioSoft's sales throughout the whole of North America. Nick has over 10 years of technical sales management experience in the ATC and defense industries and has lived in California for the last four years.

Speaking about his appointment, Nick said: "I'm very excited by the challenge of developing AudioSoft's business here in the USA. What they do is increasingly rare - they start off with great products, they then improve them as much as possible by getting feedback from their customers, and then they offer great support. It's a winning combination!"

Chris Brill, CEO of AudioSoft, explained the rationale behind Nick's appointment: "AudioSoft has an excellent reputation for supplying integrated record and playback technology for specialist applications. We're now ready to meet the challenge of the large, yet competitive, US market. We have some exciting products currently under development which should give us a significant competitive advantage. Nick's appointment is just the next stage of our long-term expansion strategy."

AudioSoft is a recognized leader in the development of digital recording, playback and analysis systems for voice and data. Launched in 1995, version 1.0 of its recording product AudioPC was the first digital voice recording solution in the world to be based on PCs. AudioSoft's systems are now in use globally in many applications including data recorders for military aircraft, voice and radar recorders for air traffic control, police interview recorders, courtroom recorders, and call center recorders. AudioSoft's highly integrated approach allows many channels of data to be recorded and regenerated seamlessly upon playback whilst their audio analytic solutions use advanced speech recognition algorithms to allow rapid identification of important data.
