Digium President and Creator of Asterisk to Keynote INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006

NORWALK, Conn. --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 17, 2006 -- Mark Spencer of Digium, Inc. to Kick-Off Leading VoIP Conference at Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center Next Week

Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC(R)) announces today that Mark Spencer, president of Digium Inc., original creator of Asterisk and pioneer of open source telephony, has agreed to deliver the opening keynote address at its INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2006, on January 24-27, 2006 at the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.



Mr. Spencer's address, which is open to all registered attendees, will take place Tuesday, January 24th at 11:30am EST. Registration for the conference is now open at http://www.itexpo.com.

INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO, held since 1999, is the world's largest and best-attended VoIP trade show. Last October, TMC's INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO in Los Angeles attracted over 7,000 buyers and sellers of IP Telephony products and services. For this upcoming January show, TMC projects total attendance to exceed 8,500.
