iBloks Secures Angel Funding From Entertainment Industry Luminaries; Warner Music, Dreamworks, Maverick, GUESS? Executives Back Innovative Self Expression Software Startup
SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 10, 2006 -- iBloks, maker of new self expression software to address consumers' growing need for personalized media and entertainment online, today announced that it has secured funding from Angel Investors, Michael Ostin, a former Warner Music and Dreamworks executive; Freddy DeMann, founding partner in Maverick Recording Company, who previously managed the careers of Madonna and Michael Jackson; and Maurice Marciano, fashion designer, and founder of GUESS?.
The funds will be used by iBloks to complete development and begin marketing of its first product, scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2006.
iBloks provides an entirely new way to express yourself, share and play with digital content online in a totally immersive 3D environment.
