Is your life as good as it gets? Are you ready to find true love? Star Jones Reynolds, co-host of ABC's "The View" and author of SHINE: A PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO FINDING LOVE, has been named AOL's new Love Coach to inform, entertain, motivate and help millions of web users decide whether their own life is as good as it gets, and if they're truly ready for love. Joining the already impressive AOL Coaches roster which includes Denise Austin, Jean Chatzky, Stephen Covey, Jorge Cruise, John Gray, Jake Steinfeld and others, Reynolds will host interactive workshops and provide tips and advice for navigating the road to a relationship.

AOL(R) Coaches (http://aol.com/coaches) is an all-encompassing self-improvement website providing solutions and answers to people's most pressing questions in the areas of diet and fitness, wellness, business and careers, money, kids and family, and now love and romance. The free program connects publishers and authors to one of the Web's largest audiences of book enthusiasts* through original, interactive and on-demand programming.

SHINE: A PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO FINDING LOVE (Harper Collins) takes readers through what Reynolds describes as the fundamental steps to finding love. Each section is devoted to core issues of interest to women. The first section guides women through a physical self-assessment and provides users with personal secrets on beauty, fashion and fitness. Part two asks tough questions about emotional preparedness for a relationship and how to get your financial life in order. Lastly, part three delves into a woman's personal faith and offers guidance for strengthening your spiritual outlook.

Star Jones Reynolds is among the first of the Coaches to be featured in a new interactive workshop format available through the AOL Coaches program. Based on her personal experiences and content from her book, the workshop enables consumers to obtain tips and insights through a full-featured, multimedia program which includes original videos on topics such as "Am I Sabotaging My Love Life" and "How Do I know He's THE ONE?"

Additionally, through her Coaches site and through AOL Black Voices (available at http://www.blackvoices.com), consumers will find excerpts from her book and a direct link to purchase it, as well as tutorials, quizzes and self-assessment exercises. Plus, AOL Black Voices recently debuted a 'Books' sub-channel highlighting Reynolds' new book as the main feature.

"As the new AOL Love Coach, I plan to provide women with advice, both entertaining and informative, that aims to answer the question, 'Is Your Life As Good As It Gets?" said Star Jones Reynolds. All women want to move their love-life from boring to brilliant and from sorry to Shining. How do I know what works...because baby, I've been there...done that and bought a tee shirt! Trust me, finding real love is not a destination; it is a journey."

"It truly has been a pleasure working with Star as our new AOL Love Coach and to create a workshop that connects readers to her and her emotional journey on a more intimate level," said Jennie Baird, Executive Director of AOL Coaches, America Online. "As is the goal of the AOL Coaches program, AOL users will find her style funny, irreverent, and wise - the most engaging, interactive experience available on the Web - and give them even further insight to what her book is all about."

AOL expects to showcase 12-15 additional authors in interactive workshops in 2006. Fifty to 75 other authors will be featured with audio and video recordings, about 150 will have their works excerpted, and 300 to 500 will be listed in the Coaches Expert & Advice Directory.
