Radialpoint Achieves Over 100 Percent Revenue Growth and Profitability for Third Consecutive Year; Announces Hiring Push for 2006

MONTREAL --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 4, 2006 -- Radialpoint, a leading provider of managed Internet services to many of the world's largest broadband providers, today announced sustained profitability and year-over-year revenue growth of more than 100 percent for the third consecutive year. This growth is expected to continue in 2006, and the company is looking to fill at least 20 new positions immediately.

Part of the company's success this year can be attributed to consumers' growing demand for rich services delivered by their Broadband Service Provider (BSP). BSPs also recognize the need to deliver a secure online experience as part of their access offering.

Continued Market Leadership

- Radialpoint launched security services offerings with five new Broadband Service Provider customers: BellSouth and Verizon in the US, and ntl, ONO and Telewest in Europe.

- Radialpoint maintained its 100 percent customer renewal rate.

- The company's addressable subscriber base grew by over 300 percent, from 5 million to 16 million broadband subscribers, representing 10 percent of the global broadband subscriber market.

- In November, senior managers from some of the world's largest broadband providers attended the first Radialpoint Customer Summit in Montreal to share successful value-added services strategies.

Rapid Company Growth

- Radialpoint achieved more than 100 percent year-over-year revenue growth and profitability for the third consecutive year.

- The company now delivers security services to over 1 million broadband Internet users every day, with an average of over 2.5 services per PC.

- The company added over 40 new employees and expanded its headquarters in Montreal.

- Radialpoint expects to fill at least 20 new positions in the first half of 2006, primarily in engineering and product management.

"This year saw Radialpoint launch managed security services offerings with some of the world's largest broadband providers and further establish itself as a major player in the global Internet security services market," said Hamnett Hill, CEO of Radialpoint. "Internet subscribers continue to demonstrate their preference to receive security services from their BSP. Combine this with the revenue generation, churn reduction, and customer satisfaction delivered by our managed security services and it's easy to see why Radialpoint is the vendor of choice for broadband providers. Simply put, we offer a better overall value-added service experience for subscribers and providers."
