Ingate Systems to Present Conference Session, Exhibit at Internet Telephony Conference & Expo East 2006

President Steven Johnson to Discuss NAT/Firewall Traversal at Leading VoIP Event

HOLLIS, NH, January 2, 2006 — Ingate® Systems (www.ingate.com), which develops firewall technology and products that enable SIP-based live communication for the enterprise while maintaining control and security at the network edge, announces that Steven Johnson, President, Ingate Systems, will present a session titled, “Traversing the Firewall for SIP Call Completion” at TMC’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO East 2006 on January 26, 2006 at the Fort Lauderdale – Broward County Convention Center.

Ingate will also be exhibiting at the show, at booth #821.

INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference & EXPO, held January 24-27, 2006, is the world’s largest and best-attended VoIP trade show. Last October, the show drew more than 7,000 buyers and sellers of VoIP products and services to Los Angeles. For the January show, TMC projects total attendance to exceed 8,000.

“Firewall and NAT traversal is a pressing issue, especially for businesses implementing IP-based applications (such as VoIP) in a SIP environment,” said Johnson. “Organizations are requesting proven NAT traversal solutions to enable them to leverage the benefits of realtime IP communications. Internet Telephony provides a much-needed forum for these types of solutions.”

Ingate products solve the NAT traversal issues inherent in SIP communications. Since NAT hides private IP addresses from the public Internet, Ingate’s products enable seamless secure connectivity by matching SIP communications originating from outside a company with the appropriate internal IP address.

In addition to resolving near-end NAT traversal issues, Ingate offers Remote SIP Connectivity, a far-end NAT traversal solution that extends the SIP capabilities of a corporate network to remote workers. Ingate also offers VoIP Survival, an application module that offers full redundancy in a SIP-based hosted PBX environment and ensures continued communications service even if the host server goes offline. All modules work with Ingate Firewall® and Ingate SIParator® products, which provide an elegant and cost-effective solution for SIP-enabling an enterprise.

“We are very pleased that Steven will be participating in this year’s show. Ingate Systems is widely recognized and respected as an industry leader, and I am confident that our attendees will appreciate and value the opportunity to hear his perspective on firewall/NAT traversal in a SIP environment,” said TMC president and conference co-chair, Rich Tehrani.
