Car to fuel Xbox fans' speed Urge(Sunday Mail Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)DRIVERS will be able to play video games using the controls of a pioneering concept car. Nissan are preparing to launch the Urge, which features a dashboard-mounted Xbox console. When the car is parked, the driver can use the steering wheel and pedals to play the Project Gotham Racing 3 game on a roof-mounted screen. The game involves 170mph chases through the streets of cities including New York and London, as well as Germany's Nurburgring race track. Nissan design boss Bruce Campbell said: "A driver could park in New York then virtually race through the same streets, blurring fantasy and reality." The car, which is unlikely to be mass-produced, will make its debut at a car show next week |
