InterAct Adds to Its Executive Management Team; Tom Hawkes and Paul Tatro join Winston-Salem-Based Public Safety Systems CompanyWINSTON-SALEM, N.C. --(Business Wire)-- Jan. 16, 2006 -- InterAct Public Safety Systems, a leading supplier of public safety technology systems used by local, state, national and international government agencies, has added two new members to its executive management team. Tom Hawkes has been appointed executive vice president and chief sales officer and Paul Tatro has been named executive vice president of International Operations. Mr. Hawkes will provide leadership to business development and he will also oversee the entire InterAct sales team. He joins InterAct from NetScreen where was responsible for driving $100 million in revenue. He previously served as senior vice president at divine, inc. where he managed 100+ sales managers. Mr. Hawkes was also an area vice president at PLATINUM technology, inc., the 8th largest software company at the time of its sale to Computer Associates for close to $4 billion. Over the course of his 15-year tenure in sales, Mr. Hawkes has personally been responsible for selling over $1 billion in large-scale software systems in security, networks, client/server and mainframe technologies. Mr. Tatro will be responsible for running international sales and operations of InterAct's global network of offices and distribution partners. Prior to joining InterAct, Mr. Tatro was president of USA Operations at ClearPace Software Ltd. He has also spent time as an independent consultant with various companies to develop and implement the strategies and systems for sales and marketing, human resources, project management, customer support (CRM), and training. Paul also previously served as CEO of Alterna Technology Group, president of International Operations for divine, inc., and executive vice president of international operations for PLATINUM technology, inc. where he grew the company's international presence in 52 countries, dramatically expanding international revenues to $350 million.
